"Dig It!" - A Musical Tale of Ancient Civilizations
Students will travel back in time and join inquisitive young archeologists, Taki and Tut, and their fossil friend, Lucy, as they explore the wonders of ancient civilizations. From the farm laborers of early Mesopotamia and Egyptian mummies who “rap”, to a chorus of ancient Greeks and Romulus and Remus who dream of building a great city, students will discover the archeological mysteries of the past while learning acting, vocal and movement skills.
Session 3 is for home-schooled students in grades 1-6. Class will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30-10:30, March 30 through May 21. All KidsACT students will participate in the same musical show with a performance on Saturday, May 23, at 4 pm.
Session 3 students will play dancing skeletons, Chinese mystics, and Romans while also singing in the general chorus of the musical. There are opportunities for speaking parts and singing solos.
